Duante Beddingfield is proud to serve as the Detroit Free Press' arts and culture reporter. Originally from Dayton, Ohio, he previously covered arts for the Dayton Daily News and Dayton City Paper, among others. 2024 marks his 20th anniversary as a journalist. From 2018 to 2022, he produced and hosted Equinox, a weekly jazz program on Dayton NPR affiliate WYSO-FM. He always smells good.
