Amy has worked at the Free Press for more than 24 years. A graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, she was a print designer before moving to the digital team. Amy writes and edits stories, assigns reporters to cover breaking news, helps manage the website and shares content on social channels. Amy previously worked at her hometown newspaper, the Dayton Daily News, in Ohio, and at the Anderson Independent-Mail in South Carolina. She is the wife of former Free Press Executive Editor Robert Huschka. Her greatest joy is being a mother to her special needs son, Martin. Amy travels the world to watch soccer, the world's greatest sport.
