When speaking with Adam Oberski, broker-owner of Century 21 Curran & Oberski, it does not take long to learn that he is passionate about his team.

“Just think of one big army walking arm-and-arm together and every person in the line is able to deliver the high standards that are expected,” explained Oberski, whose company earned the No. 1 spot among midsize companies in the 2023 Michigan Top Workplaces competition. “We are a very involved brokerage, and we simply have the best people. Our leadership and agent services group at each of our offices provide dynamic support to our realtors that is not offered in our industry at the level we do. Everyone works hard together to match the same high expectations.”

Team members meet up at the Century 21 Curran & Oberski office in Northville, on Monday, Oct. 23, 2023.

And with all of the hard work that is performed, Oberski said there also is an expectation that his team members will have fun and plenty of it.

“You have to have fun,” said Oberski, whose real estate brokerage firm operates four offices in Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Northville and Royal Oak. “We work hard and playing hard is an important part of it. We take trips together and we do fun things at the office. I take a ton of pride in making it a place where people like to come into work.”

Oberski also takes pride in talking about the 75 years his firm has been in operation.

Felicia Biggs, 45, of Farmington Hills, cheers on another Realtor for closing on a home sale during a meeting at the Century 21 Curran & Oberski office in Northville, on Monday, Oct. 23, 2023. The company is the No. 1 midsize Michigan Top Workplace in 2023.

“It’s a legacy,” stated Oberski, whose firm has supported many community causes throughout its history including food pantries, homeless veterans, children’s parks, Habitat for Humanity and more. “Generations have worked at the firm and served the community. We take a ton of pride in that and when consumers or agents reach out, they know they are going to get 100% of what we have to help them be successful. And every member of our team knows that they are part of a firm that focuses on their professional and personal growth as well through a culture of integrity, knowledge, encouragement and support.”
