Everybody knows the Detroit Lions wear Honolulu blue, right?

Wrong?

On Wednesday night, ABC's celebrity edition of "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire" proved otherwise. While facing the $64,000 questions, Rosie O'Donnell and Lisa Ann Walter struggled to choose which NFL team that is nearly 4,500 miles from Hawaii is known for its Honolulu blue uniforms.

Rosie O'Donnell and Lisa Ann Walter play for charity on the July 17, 2024 episode of "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?" hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

The possible answers were:

  • a) The Detroit Lions.
  • b) the Miami Dolphins.
  • c) the Dallas Cowboys.
  • d) the Seattle Seahawks.

They were about to guess the Cowboys after Walters guesstimated the distance from Dallas to Hawaii, musing that Detroit was probably farther away. But just before the answer was locked in, the "Abbott Elementary" star hesitated and decided to call her phone-a-friend, Autumn Chiklis, the daughter of her good friend, actor Michael Chiklis.

Time for the call almost ran out before Chiklis settled on the Lions, saving the day for O'Donnell and Walter, who went on to earn $250,000 for their charities before being eliminated.

"Who Wants To Be a Millionaire" is hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC
