Two weeks after Jack White rolled out his sixth solo record with a stealth promotion at his Third Man Records stores, the album is set for a formal release.

"No Name" will hit digital music services and streaming platforms Friday, the Detroit native's team announced Wednesday morning. The 13-track album, which features a text-free blue cover, will also be available on vinyl, including a blue edition that will be available at TMR locations starting Thursday.

It follows the organic unveiling of "No Name" on July 19, when shoppers at TMR's retail shops in Detroit, Nashville and London discovered that copies of the white-label record had been slipped into their bags at checkout. Aside from "No Name" imprinted on the label, there was little information, and only upon listening was it clear this was a Jack White effort.

The album's songs were recorded at White's Nashville studios throughout 2023 and 2024, his camp revealed Wednesday, and the records were manufactured at his Third Man Pressing plant in Detroit.
