Where every Big Ten football team is ranked in 2024 preseason top 25 poll

We're another week closer to the start of college football season, and that means there's another major poll out to help decipher who's expected to make waves this fall — and who might be lurking as a dark horse, now that there's an expanded College Football Playoff featuring 12 teams for the first time.

Last week's preseason release of the US LBM Coaches Poll revealed a number of Big Ten teams that could have big dreams this season. The Associated Press came out with its preseason rankings on Monday, as determined by selected media members. The Big Ten was once again well-represented after Michigan gave the league its first national champion in nearly a decade last season.

There were a total of six Big Ten teams ranked in the initial AP Top 25 poll, including four in the top 10. Ohio State and new member Oregon led the charge, coming in at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively.
